“There will be time, depend upon it, for everything God wants us to do.”
Elisabeth Elliot
Oh, the excitement of cracking open a fresh, new planner! Today I’m excited to share with you my absolute favorite planner. It’s called the Homemaker’s Friend Daily Planner and this will be the third year I’ve used this planner – it’s a keeper!
The Homemaker’s Friend planner was created by a Christian wife and mom of 6, Sue Hooley. She did an incredible job of crafting a beautiful, yet functional tool for women who are wives, moms, and homemakers. I am always on the lookout for resources that will help me manage my time and home more efficiently and this planner is one of those.
Last year, I decided to try a different planner, but as you can see, I’m back to my faithful Homemaker’s Friend planner! Although I enjoyed the other planner I used, this one just ticks the boxes for what I like in a planner. One thing I really love is the size: it’s small enough to easily fit into my purse or bag, but yet large enough to comfortably write in AND it lays flat.
What I love about the Homemaker’s Friend planner:
- budget friendly at $14.99
- beautiful design and bright, fresh photos
- brimming with inspiring quotes and Scripture
- sturdy cover and tabs
- weekly and monthly calendar pages
- perforated tear-out shopping lists (all the heart eyes for this feature!)
- master shopping list guides to fill in (two sets)
- space to record gift ideas, family clothing sizes, etc. (so handy to have on hand when out shopping)
- specific sections for jotting down project lists, special tasks, important info
- double-sided pocket in back for storing coupons, receipts, and mementos (ok, and bills, too!)
I love that the planner entries start on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 (next week!) so you can start using this one right away in perfect time for the bustle of the holidays. I already got rid of my too-big planner and am so looking forward to using this one again. It really will be my “friend” throughout this next year! : )
The Homemaker’s Friend planner would make such a thoughtful gift for a friend, along with some nice Pilot pens (my fav!) and maybe even a $5 Starbucks card, so she can slip away for a little planning retreat at the cusp of the New Year.
Happy planning, friends!
When you purchase the planner from Homemaker’s Depot, you will be emailed free meal planning printables to download and print.
P.S. If you’re an Amazon Prime member and want your planner in a hurry, you can purchase your planner here instead.
“Lord, where there are interruptions, it seems that the disposal of the time I had planned so well has slipped out of my hands. Help me then to remember that it has not slipped out of Yours. In Your hands, these unexpected things will be fashioned into an unexpectedly beautiful design.”
