I’m Lauren and this is my quiet little corner of the busy, bustling internet world.
I’m a Christian and married to a wonderful, godly man named Elijah. We have three kiddos: Chloe (6), Elliot (5), and Nora (10 months). Most days find me at home (coffee mug nearby), seeking to have a heavenly perspective as I mother our children, keep our home, and cultivate our marriage. I’m so thankful for the blessings of marriage and children. Marriage and parenting have been incredibly refining for me, but I’m seeing the Lord use these undeserved gifts to make me more like Him.
I’m also a DONA-certified birth doula and have loved attending births and learning all I can about birth since 2013. It’s been my joy to support moms and their families during pregnancy and the process of labor and birth. I never tire of being witness to the soul-stretching grit of labor and the sweet haze of a baby’s first moments.
A few things that make my heart come alive are piles of good books, deep conversations with friends, cozy drinks, and cultivating rhythms of beauty and order in everyday life.
